About the exhibition:

Robot people, green skyscrapers, communal economies: There are infinite ways to think about the future.

The exhibition in the Futurium presents and discusses different concepts of the future: How do we want to work and live in the future? Which technologies will we use and how do we apply them? How do we meet our needs without harming nature even more? How do we want to live together? We are moving in a large field of tension, we set priorities and we act.

Three forces always play together: Nature, man and technology. These can be discovered in the Futurium exhibition in three large thinking rooms covering over 3,000 square metres.

About the Futurium:

The Futurium is a house of the future. Everything here revolves around the question: How do we want to live? In the exhibition, visitors* can discover many possible futures, discuss them together in the forum and try out their own ideas in the Futurium Lab.

We already know today: In the future we will have to overcome great challenges. How can we get climate change under control? Which technologies do we want to use in the future? How do we want to live together as a society – are there alternatives to the “higher-faster-further”? The future is also created by our decisions and actions in the present. The Futurium would therefore like to encourage all visitors* to deal with the future and help shape it.
