Armand Grüntuch has founded together with Almut Grüntuch-Ernst their architecture firm in 1991 in Berlin. He studied at RWTH Aachen and IUAV Venice, worked for Norman Foster in London and was a teacher at HdK Berlin. He is regularly invited for lectures and to take part in the selection committees of important competitions. In 2006 he had been appointed commissioner for the German contribution to the 10th International Architecture Biennale in Venice. 2018/19 he was Professor at the Department of Design and Architectural Theory at Leibniz University Hanover. Armand Grüntuch has been a member of the Advisory Board of the Bundesstiftung Baukultur since 2016.

She is regularly invited for lectures and to take part in the selection committees of important competitions. In 2006 she had been appointed commissioner for the German contribution to the 10. International Architecture Biennale in Venice. Since 2011 she is chair of the Institute of Design and Architectural Strategies at TU Braunschweig. From 2010 to 2015 she was on the consultant committee for city planning in Munich and since 2016 she has been a member of the Academy of Arts Berlin.
